No. 42 – Agate & Beaded Fringe Ocean | Miniature Worlds Paperweight

$145.00

Every Miniature World begins with a single bead — and a question: what story does it want to tell? This one answered from somewhere deep and ancient — from the bottom of an ocean that dried up a million years ago, leaving only its colors behind.

This round resin paperweight is the most geologically rich and texturally complex piece in the collection. The dome itself is formed in deep teal and ocean blue resin with a raw, heavily textured surface and a metallic teal edge — organic and elemental, unlike any other piece in the series. At the center, a large natural banded agate dominates the composition: warm amber, burnt orange, cream, and white rings glowing from within, a slice of deep geological time. Draped over the agate, an intricate handmade seed bead fringe piece — aqua sky blue and deep cobalt navy beads woven into a diamond-shaped top with cascading fringe — rests like an offering laid on sacred stone. Dark green and black moss and lichen fill the lower field, earthy and alive. A delicate silver ring set with a deep blue sapphire-toned faceted stone rests lower left. A single large clear crystal rhinestone catches light at lower right. Gold shimmer glows at the agate’s upper edge.
