No. 64 – Fire Resin, Gold Mesh Chain & Garnet Oval | Miniature Worlds Paperweight
Every Miniature World begins with a single bead — and a question: what story does it want to tell? This one answered at the moment the volcano meets the sunset — when everything is red and gold and nothing is cooled yet and the air itself is on fire.
This oval rounded-rectangle resin piece is the most dramatically explosive in the Miniature Worlds collection. Approximately 5” wide × 3” tall × 1” high, horizontal orientation, smooth full dome. The resin is a volcanic aurora — vivid crimson red, deep purple and violet, burnt orange, and warm amber swirling together in a dynamic field of fire and light, with abundant gold flake splashes scattered throughout like embers caught mid-flight. The structural spine of the piece is a thick, luxurious gold mesh omega tube chain — substantial, architectural, and gleaming — looping in a sweeping S-curve through the full composition. Suspended within: on the left, a gorgeous multi-stone statement earring with three dangling bezel-set drops — a large vivid red druzy or carnelian, a soft lavender and mauve stone, and a small crystal drop. On the right, a deep rich burgundy garnet oval cabochon in a clean gold bezel — wine-dark and refined. At center right, a beautifully detailed gold ginkgo biloba leaf charm — sculptural, botanical, and elegant. At lower left, a small delicate white ribbed seashell — a quiet breath in the middle of all that fire.
