No. 10 – Nomad’s Tusk – 24" Necklace
A one-of-a-kind necklace that carries the untamed spirit of the ancient world — raw, protective, and worn like a trophy of a life fully lived.
The strand is built on oxidised sterling silver Navajo pearl beads, their darkened finish and subtle sheen giving the piece a weathered, well-travelled quality from the very first glance. Small square blue inlay accent beads punctuate the strand with quiet flashes of colour — a nod to the turquoise traditions of the American Southwest and the Silk Road alike.
The pendant is the heart of everything: a dramatic carved bone claw or tusk, creamy white and tapered to a bold curve, suspended from an ornate silver bail set with a vivid turquoise cabochon. It is primal, ceremonial, and completely arresting — the kind of pendant that stops a conversation.
Photographed on fossilised sandstone embedded with trilobite and fern impressions, beside a natural ammonite fossil — objects hundreds of millions of years old, offering perfect context for a piece that feels equally ancient.
Impression: Primal, powerful, and deeply nomadic. Nomad’s Tusk is for the collector who wears their wildness openly — and needs no explanation for it.
