No. 46 – Regalia of the Sovereign – 26" Necklace

A one-of-a-kind necklace of sovereign beauty — regal in its materials, commanding in its pendant, and assembled with the quiet confidence of a piece that knows exactly what it is.

The strand moves through soft lavender amethyst rounds, their cool, contemplative colour creating an exquisite ground for the warmer elements around them. Deep orange carnelian rounds introduce heat and vitality at intervals, their saturated glow playing beautifully against the lavender. Ornate silver daisy and flower spacer beads and delicate silver filigree accent rounds thread through the strand with detailed, considered metalwork, and a silver spring-ring clasp finishes the piece with clean, unfussy elegance.

The pendant is the piece’s absolute centrepiece — and it commands attention entirely. A large rectangular silver frame worked in deeply carved openwork scroll and dragon relief — the finest tradition of Chinese decorative silversmithing — holds a large oval deep blue lapis lazuli cabochon of exceptional colour and depth at its centre. Above and below, two smaller round lapis cabochons echo the central stone, creating a vertical axis of deep celestial blue that anchors and elevates the entire composition.
