Every Miniature World begins with a single bead — and a question: what story does it want to tell? This one answered at midnight — from the layer of ocean just below the surface where the jellyfish drift and the light goes silver and everything is translucent and glowing and impossibly beautiful.

This oval rounded-rectangle resin piece is the most ethereal in the Miniature Worlds collection. Approximately 3”×5”×1” high with a smooth full dome. The resin is soft periwinkle and sky blue with extraordinary iridescent pearl and silver swirls throughout — aurora borealis shimmer shifting between blue, silver, pink, and pearl depending on the light and angle, like moonlight caught in mother of pearl. A thick silver twisted rope chain loops around the full perimeter of the oval, framing the composition like a portal. At the center, the hero of the piece: a gorgeous ornate silver filigree jellyfish — domed cap detailed with raised dots and filigree work, trailing long flowing tentacles formed from a delicate crystal rhinestone chain with individual sparkling stones along each strand, cascading downward through the blue in perfect anatomical grace. Two large ornate ribbed silver barrel beads — Bali-style, substantial and detailed — anchor the upper right and lower left of the composition.
