No. 52 – Ocean Agate & Sea Turtle Oval | Miniature Worlds Paperweight

Every Miniature World begins with a single bead — and a question: what story does it want to tell? This one answered from underwater — from the quiet place just below the surface where the light goes blue and everything slows down and the turtles know exactly where they’re going.

This oval rounded-rectangle resin piece is a new form in the Miniature Worlds collection — the first of its kind. Approximately 3”×5” with a 1” dome height and smooth rounded edges, it holds more world than any round piece before it. The resin is a vivid, layered sky and ocean blue — rich with depth, like looking down into a tide pool from a sun-warmed rock. Two large natural banded agates anchor the composition: the first, upper right, is a striking warm amber, brown, and cream banded stone with soft pink blush — glowing as if lit from within; the second, center left, is a rounder form in warm brown and cream with deep red banding. A large smooth lavender-mauve tumbled stone rests lower left, soft and organic. A substantial gold leaf flake floats upper center. Three sea turtle charms swim through the blue field — two in warm gold detail, one in silver — each moving with quiet purpose through the resin water. Small natural cream and white seashells are scattered across the ocean floor. A delicate gold wire spiral coils in the field. A small white coral accent rests at right center. Blue glitter shimmer catches light throughout — sunlight on moving water, sealed still.
