No. 11 – Sacred Currents – 24" Necklace
A one-of-a-kind necklace that flows with the energy of ancient rivers and sacred water — earthy, vibrant, and alive with Himalayan artisan spirit.
The strand weaves small turquoise green seed beads into a continuous current of colour, punctuated by large Tibetan brass oval barrel beads decorated with intricate turquoise and coral mosaic inlay — each one a tiny work of art, hand-set with the precision of centuries-old craft. Dark oxidised brass rounds add grounding depth between the elements, creating a rhythm that feels as natural as water over stone.
The pendant is the piece’s bold, joyful centrepiece: a large articulated fish in deep red enamel and turquoise mosaic, its scales rendered in a pattern that is at once decorative and deeply symbolic. In many Himalayan and Buddhist traditions, the fish is a sacred symbol of abundance, freedom, and the flow of spiritual energy — worn close to the heart as a protective talisman.
Photographed on weathered driftwood draped with indigo textile, beside a handmade ceramic bowl and raw turquoise tumbles — a composition that feels like a traveller’s altar.
Impression: Vibrant, sacred, and full of wandering spirit. Sacred Currents is for the woman who moves through the world with intention — and carries her blessings visibly.
