No. 47 – Two Owls & Sea Turtle Branch | Miniature Worlds Paperweight

Every Miniature World begins with a single bead — and a question: what story does it want to tell? This one answered at dusk — from a branch at the edge of the forest where the trees end and the ocean begins, and two owls watch the last light leave the water.

This round resin paperweight is the most enchanting and narrative-rich piece in the collection. The dome is formed in sky blue and aqua clear resin with a dramatic diamond star-cut faceted surface and a beautifully organic irregular edge — atmospheric and luminous, like frozen twilight sky or a shallow coastal lagoon. At the heart of the composition, a natural twig branch crosses the full width of the piece. Perched side by side upon it: two miniature owl figurines — the left in dark gunmetal with warm amber and orange rhinestone eyes, wise and watchful; the right in deep navy blue with a sapphire-jeweled body, iridescent and mysterious. At the right end of the branch, a tiny gold sea turtle charm rests in perfect stillness. A strand of smooth dark navy beads arches across the upper field. Natural cream seashells settle in the lower right. Dark green moss grounds the branch below. A vivid cobalt blue faceted crystal and a silver hexagonal honeycomb charm anchor the lower left. Warm gold glitter flecks drift throughout the blue resin field.
